The ceremony began with the solemn anthem of Southeast University and was hosted by Dong Shikun, Deputy Secretary of the college's Party Committee.

On behalf of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of Jiangbei New Area, Deputy Director Wang Wei extended warm congratulations to the graduates and expressed sincere gratitude for Southeast University's long-term support for the New Area's development. He highlighted the remarkable achievements of the New Area in the decade since its establishment and the fruitful results of deep collaboration with the university, including the Innovation Research Institute, the National EDA Innovation Center, and the implementation of the "Grand Medical Sciences" strategy. He expressed his earnest hope that Jiangbei New Area and Southeast University will continue to deepen their university-local government linkage and cooperative education in the future, injecting a continuous stream of talent to power the construction of Jiangbei's new main city area.

Representing the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences at Southeast University, Deputy Director Cheng Bin offered his best wishes to all graduates. He highly commended the outstanding contributions of the faculty and students as the first "pioneers" of the Jiangbei Campus. Cheng Bin shared three hopes for the graduates: first, to bravely undertake great responsibilities and dare to innovate, closely integrating their personal careers with the major strategic needs of the nation. Second, to cherish a love for their country and cultivate deep patriotic feelings, adhering to scientific ethics and morals to become responsible life science professionals. Third, to embrace lifelong learning and integration, continuously enhancing interdisciplinary skills to cope with the rapid iteration of technology. At the end of his speech, he affectionately stated that their alma mater will forever be a strong support and spiritual home for its students.

To further deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research, several cooperation agreements were signed during the ceremony. Carl Zeiss Management Co., Ltd. donated 150,000 RMB to establish the "Zeiss Scholarship and Teaching Award" to inspire faculty and students to pursue excellence. The college's Party Committee signed a Party-building co-construction agreement with the Party branches of the Biomedical Department of the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Simcere Pharmaceutical, aiming to lead industry-academia-research integration through high-quality Party building. The college also signed curriculum co-development agreements with Vazyme Biotech and GenScript Biotech to jointly explore new models of university-enterprise collaborative education, focusing on cultivating leading talents with both a solid theoretical foundation and the ability to solve industrial problems.

A teacher's influence lasts a lifetime. Professor Tu Renjun, a faculty representative and an alumnus from the class of 2007, shared his own experience studying at Southeast University. In his address, he encouraged the life science students to uphold the school motto of "Striving for Perfection" and to continuously pursue excellence and responsibility on their path of exploring the mysteries of life and serving human health.

During the ceremony, the college presented honorary certificates to outstanding graduates, motivating them to continue striving and moving forward on their future paths.

Dai Xin, the undergraduate representative, fondly recalled her journey of growth at the college. She expressed gratitude for the meticulous guidance of her teachers, which forged her scientific spirit of exploring the unknown, and she vowed to remember the spirit of her alma mater and bravely pursue her dreams. Zhao Yu, the doctoral graduate representative, solemnly pledged in his speech that no matter where he goes, he will use his knowledge to build a successful career and give back to his alma mater, ensuring that the title "Life Science Person" will always be synonymous with honor and responsibility.

The college also presented each graduate with customized gifts, including a personal seal, a sash, and a badge engraved with their name, demonstrating care and blessings for the students.

At the end of the event, graduate representatives presented flowers to the faculty and staff to express their gratitude in a warm and moving scene.

The mountains and rivers stretch far and wide, and the future holds infinite promise.

May our graduates carry with them the hopes of their alma mater,

along with the mission and responsibility of being life scientists.

On the new journey to build a healthier China and a stronger nation through science and technology,

may you contribute the strength and passion of youth.
